Keith Prushankin seves as an Executive Director of the Strategic Security Initiative (SSI) and is a head of its Defense and Military Affairs Program. Keith earned a Ph.D. in political science from the Free University of Berlin. His research expertise is in autocratization and the political economy of Central and Eastern Europe. He has an M.A. from Charles University in international relations with a focus on U.S.-Russia relations. Prushankin is currently serving in the U.S. Army. His past professional experience includes the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe and the International Monetary Fund. He speaks Czech, German, and Russian.
