Ketevan Jakeli is a Fellow at the Center for Strategic Communications (CSC) of the Strategic Security Initiative (SSI). She holds Master’s degree in Security and Human Rights from Tuscia University, Italy, and a Master’s degree in International Security and Technology from Business and Technology University Georgia. She also holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs.
Her professional experience includes serving at the Ministry of Defence of Georgia in the Strategic Communication and Public Relations Department, where she worked on strategic communication, public engagement, and institutional communication. Her research and professional interests include strategic communications, hybrid threats, disinformation, international security, and regional security dynamics.
Ketevan has participated in specialised security and strategic communication programs, including the Intermediate Strategic Communication Course at the Baltic Defence College, strategic communication training at the Defence Institution Building School, and regional security training focused on the Black Sea region. Her academic research has explored the intersection of armed conflict, forced migration, and European security, with a focus on Middle Eastern refugees in Europe.
