Mariami Japaridze is a Fellow of the Hybrid Threats and Resilience Program at the Strategic Security Initiative (SSI). She is a political analyst specializing in European affairs, democratic resilience, and security dynamics in Eastern Europe and the South Caucasus.
Her professional background includes political analysis, election observation and strategic communication, cooperating with international organisations and regional initiatives. Her analytical work focuses on identifying regional vulnerabilities, assessing external influence operations, and exploring strategies to strengthen democratic resilience against hybrid threats.
She holds an Advanced Master of Arts in European Interdisciplinary Studies from the College of Europe in Natolin and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from Tbilisi State University, having also studied at the University of Tartu.
