Savannah Taylor is a Fellow of Hybrid Threats and Resilience Program at Strategic Security Initiative (SSI). She is a risk consulting professional specializing in geopolitical risk, emerging technologies, economic security, and international regulatory affairs. She currently serves as a Legal, Risk, and Compliance Consultant at Protiviti, where she conducts intelligence research on AI governance, sanctions, financial crime, and global regulatory developments across the United States, Europe, the United Kingdom, and East Asia. Previously, she worked in Global Partnerships and U.S. market strategy for an AI technology startup in Frankfurt, Germany, supporting international business development and cross-border market expansion.
In addition, she is a 2025-2026 Future Leaders Fellow at the Euro-Atlantic Resilience Centre and a Young Professionals in Foreign Policy (YPFP) Rising Expert in Economics, where she conducts research on economic security, technology policy, and international affairs. Her work has included collaboration with policymakers, government officials, and international organizations on resilience, emerging technologies, and geopolitical risk.
As a researcher and policy commentator, she focuses on the intersection of technology, economics, and international security, with particular emphasis on AI governance, platform regulation, economic resilience, and strategic competition. Her analysis has appeared in War on the Rocks, The Diplomatic Courier, Fair Observer, Geopolitical Monitor, Charged Affairs, Tech Policy Press, and other international publications. She also serves as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Florida, supporting research and instruction in international business, international law, and public policy.
