Tinatin Gachechiladze is a specialist in international relations and diplomacy with a strong focus on global politics, European and Transatlantic security and defense architecture, and the strategic posture of international alliances, regimes, and institutions in a transformative security environment.
She previously served as a Research Assistant for a Postdoctoral Fellowship funded by Volkswagen Stiftung, conducted in partnership between the University of Dortmund, the University of Georgia (UG), and the University of Bielefeld. She was also International Academic Projects and Programs Coordinator for the International Relations and Political Sciences department at the UG, coordinating academic programming for the BA, MA, and PhD programs, as well as the UG Security Platform (UGSP, currently known as UGSPN).
In addition, she is a member of the Common Futures Conversations (CFC) at the Chatham House - Queen Elizabeth II Leadership Academy, as well as the Young Specialists of the Foreign Policy (YSFP) global network. She also contributes to various international socio-economic and humanitarian institutions in the French Republic in accordance with the EU policy framework, advocating human rights and security.
She has also served at the MFA of the Republic of Bulgaria - Embassy of Bulgaria to Georgia as a diplomatic, research, and program assistant-trainee. She has contributed to several research and policy papers, translated one book, and co-authored a book (report) on crisis-response simulation.
